We invite viewers to contemplate the interplay between the unseen and the visible, the expressive and the engineered. This exhibition examines how artists explore the essence of existence—our inner worlds, emotions, and experiences—through frameworks, patterns, and constructs that provide form.
Showcasing work from three artists Rebecca Ivatts, Christopher Metcalfe and Clare Daniel, each piece in the collection navigates the tension between freedom and restraint, between emotion and order, urging viewers to consider how the structured aspects of life often reveal or contain something much deeper: the soul. Through diverse media, “Soul and Structure” explores these dualities and invites reflection on how personal and societal frameworks shape, confine, and express our innermost selves.
