Oundle crest

Oundle is a selective school with a strong academic reputation. Our pupils achieve excellent results at (I)GCSE and A Level, and go on to study at top universities around the world. Oundelians are encouraged to look beyond their current strengths and interests, to harness their natural intellectual curiosity and explore new avenues for learning. From a young age, they are exposed to as many different subjects and ideas as possible, giving them a strong foundation on which to build their knowledge and skills. As pupils move up through the school, they enjoy a greater depth to their learning, allowing them to develop their own passions and interests. Our highly qualified teachers provide support and guidance throughout, helping pupils to achieve their full potential.

Applying for a place at Oundle

We look for pupils who are both academically ambitious and intellectually curious. Places are competitive at all stages of entry and we ask applicants whose native language is not English to provide a UKiset report or equivalent at the earliest stage of application. This enables us to advise on whether Oundle is the right fit academically and holistically, ahead of registering or sitting assessments.

VISIT UKISET

Following a successful UKiset report and wherever possible, we wholeheartedly recommend that families visit us in person to gain a genuine insight into Oundle. In order to sit entry examinations across all entry points, families must register formally through the Admissions department.  Specific Scholarships are available at each stage of entry and further details can be found here. Candidates must sit examinations at a British Council Office if travel to the UK is not feasible. We interview all candidates as part of the assessment process, either in person or online.

All applicants from mainland China should contact our official representative. Please see the link below for more information:
