Virtual Open Days and Visits

Whilst current restrictions mean we are unable to hold our Open Day and visits planned for the Summer Term, as a School we are continuing to operate fully online through an extensive remote learning programme. In order to support families during the admissions process, we are holding a series of virtual Open Day Q&A sessions as well as virtual video introductions to the School and our Houses. To register your interest or find out more about our approach to visits at this time, including bespoke virtual meetings with members of staff across the School, please complete the form below or contact the Admissions Office for further guidance.

Our next Open Day date is planned for October 3, 2020. These visits are an opportunity to see the School in action, and the day-to-day life of pupils. Please note, for overseas visitors to our Open Day we do ask to see UKISET results prior to sending an invitation.

On an Open Day, visitors will be welcomed personally in Houses and then taken on a tour of the School by pupils before being addressed by the Head in the Great Hall and hosted for lunch by staff. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions of both pupils and staff and to see a second House after lunch. Our Open Days are by invitation only, please contact our Admissions Office for further details.

Individual Visits

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to welcome visitors to the School at present, however, our Admissions Office is still open to provide support and advice and to answer any questions you may have.

When restrictions are lifted, we look forward to welcoming families to Oundle for individual visits. These are tailored to your family’s needs and can take place on Mondays through to Saturdays during term time. An initial visit usually includes a tour of the School, a visit to a boarding or day House including meeting the Housemaster or Housemistress and lunch with some pupils (excluding Saturdays).

The Registrar will meet families at the beginning and end of each visit.

When booking, do take the time to give us as much detail as possible about your child so that we can tailor your visit accordingly, such as a meeting with the Director of Music or Sport, or with the Deputy Head Admissions to discuss scholarships and bursaries.
