Repeat. Resist. Reveal brings together past and present in a compelling celebration of fine art printmaking. At the heart of the exhibition is a selection from the prestigious Curwen Archive, featuring works by world-renowned artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Paula Rego and our own King Charles, each a testament to the enduring power of the printed mark.
Shown alongside are pieces by contemporary printmakers whose innovative approaches continue to expand the boundaries of the medium. From traditional techniques to experimental methods, this rich and eclectic collection honours the vision of Sir Stanley Jones, whose lifelong mission was “to preserve the legacy of fine art printmaking.”
“Repeat. Resist. Reveal” invites viewers to trace the evolution of the printed image and reflect on the dialogue between historical mastery and modern expression.
