We are delighted to share that OOs Dexter Lynch (B 25) and Kate Mitchell (L 24) have both been selected to represent Oxford University Rugby Football Club in the 2026 Varsity Matches, taking place at StoneX Stadium in North London on 28 February.
Selection for the prestigious Varsity Matches is a tremendous honour, with both Old Oundelians chosen to represent the Blues on one of university rugby’s biggest stages. Their achievement reflects not only their dedication and hard work, but also the strength of Oundle’s rugby programme and the supportive community that has helped them to flourish throughout their journey.
Dexter and Kate’s selection is a proud moment for the School, and we congratulate them warmly on this outstanding accomplishment.
