The 1st team netball squad has successfully qualified for the U19 Regional Netball Finals to be hosted at Oundle School in late January.

Oundle hosted the Northants County round on Thursday 13 October, when seven schools competed in a round robin competition with teams playing matches of seven minutes each way.

Despite a slow start ending in a loss to Northampton High School, Oundle soon hit their stride, gaining in confidence with each match, and settling into an excellent style of team play.

They registered victories in their remaining five games and finished in first place, with Bishop Stopford runners-up.

The squad is now preparing for the Regional Finals, aiming to qualify for the England Netball National Schools Finals to be hosted at Oundle in March.

They will be joined at the Regional Finals by the U14s who won their county qualifier on 8 November, also hosted at Oundle. Unbeaten throughout the competition, the entire squad made a fine performance, finishing first, ahead of Wellingborough School.
