We are delighted to announce that Jamie Lennard will be joining Oundle as Head of Rugby from September 2021.

Jamie enjoyed a professional rugby career playing over 150 first-class games in both the English Premiership and RFU Championship, playing for London Irish; Worcester Warriors; Bedford Blues and Doncaster Knights. Jamie also represented his country at England U21s and England Students. Following his retirement from playing, Jamie was appointed Director of Rugby at Hill House School, Doncaster, which he combined with the role of Director of Rugby at Doncaster Phoenix RFC.

In August 2018, Jamie was appointed Director of Sport at Marlborough College, Malaysia, where he has been integral to the shaping and development of the College’s sporting ethos and reputation across Southeast Asia.

As Head of Rugby, Jamie will be responsible for the strategic direction of rugby, developing all aspects of the sport at Oundle. He will be responsible for delivering the whole School rugby-playing philosophy.

We look very much look forward to welcoming Jamie, his wife Rebecca and three children to Oundle.

Jamie said: “I am hugely excited about the opportunity to deliver a progressive playing philosophy across the whole School. The statement of intent in recently building the world-class facilities shows the level of support and the importance sport plays in school life at Oundle. I can’t wait to get started working with colleagues to deliver the vision for school sport.”
