We’re delighted to share that our U16 netball squad has qualified for the National Schools Finals 2026, placing them among the top 18 teams in the country. This is a fantastic sporting achievement for the team and the first time Oundle has reached the finals in any age group since 2016.
The squad earned their place following an outstanding performance at the Regional Schools Finals, building on their success at the County Rounds. Coaches Miss Bray and Miss Montgomery praised the girls’ determination and resilience throughout the competition, commenting:
“They took feedback on board and improved with every game. We are super proud of the girls’ approach and the preparation the team put in beforehand. Their teamwork and connections truly shone.”
The National Finals take place on Sunday 22 March in Sheffield, and we’ll be cheering the team on as they represent Oundle. Good luck girls!
