We are pleased to share that Dominic Oliver, Head of Oundle School, has been shortlisted for Best Head of a Public School in the 2026 Tatler Schools Awards.
The nomination recognises school leaders who go above and beyond and reflects Dominic’s more than two decades of commitment to boarding education, including ten years as Head of Lancing College before joining Oundle this September.
Reflecting on the values that guide his leadership, Dominic said:
“Listening well matters – to colleagues, to parents and to pupils. Good leadership is collaborative and discursive but also decisive; people need to feel heard and to know the direction of travel. At its best, a school is humane, ambitious and properly joyful.”
