LAXTON JUNIOR SCHOOL
"Community Action represents, to my mind, the very best of Oundle. Time and again pupils talk about how their Community Action involvement whilst at Oundle has changed them and how much it has meant to them."
Sarah Kerr-Dineen, Head

We work with a broad range of organisations, and residents, including nine special needs schools, special needs adults at community and arts clubs, horse riders and rowers. Each week we host a 660 Club for senior citizens, and our pupils also visit local elderly residents to help with tasks around their homes.

Pupils work with numerous nurseries and schools in Oundle and surrounding villages as well as in Peterborough, Kettering, Corby and Wellingborough, where they develop strong working relationships with the children and staff, often becoming a valued member of the team through their provision of classroom assistance, as well as sports coaching and supervision of after-school homework clubs.
