With her husband Robert, Joan Wyatt co-founded the Gild of Our Lady of Oundle in the early part of the sixteenth century, and gave her name to one of a pair of houses built in 1990 for the first girl boarders. Wyatt was purpose-built with many spacious common rooms, and is surrounded by the School playing fields from its position on Pavilion Drive.
