The Oundle Rovers have announced a new Captain and an exciting squad for the 2025 Cricketer Cup campaign. The competition is delighted to  have partnered with Beechbrook Capital, a private credit fund, as its new title sponsor.

Will Street succeeds Greg Smith who has captained the side since 2019, leading the Rovers to two finals in 2019 and 2021. Will’s vice-captain for the season will be Charlie Fernandes. The group is delighted to have two new additions in current School 1st XI players Ralph Hayward and Sam Kassulke. Under the competition playing regulations the pair are ineligible for the first two rounds, but hopefully they will be challenging hard for their Cricketer Cup debuts from the quarter-final stage.

The Rovers remain the third most successful club in the competition’s 58 year history having won over 100 games, reached 10 finals and lifted the trophy 3 times.
