“Oundle prides itself on being a forward-looking, open-minded School, a School which takes note of the nature of life outside its walls and not only responds to it but anticipates its further development so that the School can provide for its pupils sound and good preparation for later life.”D. B. McMurray, Headmaster, 1988
Named after visionary Head, David McMurray, who introduced co-education to Oundle in 1990, this flagship girls’ boarding House will stand as a proud statement of our position as one of the world’s leading co-educational boarding and day schools.
This exciting development will transform the site of the former Oundle Primary School into a state-of-the-art, 60-bed boarding House for girls. Both bringing girls into the heart of Oundle, whilst helping to ensure the long-term security and success of the School, for both current and future generations of Oundelians.
For almost five centuries Oundle School has stood for excellence, offering an outstanding education that prepares children for their adult lives.
