The annual Multisports Weekend took place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March with OOs returning to Oundle to compete in a range of sports against current pupils. It was a close competition with the OO Club winning the Mike Spragg Trophy for 2022, with a score of 6 wins to the School’s 4, meaning OOs take the overall competition lead 7-6 in the modern era of this event following two draws.
The event was well supported with participation high and plenty of encouraging supporters and enthusiasm on both sides. Drinks in the Ship on Saturday evening and lunch on Sunday were provided by the OO Club, the latter of which saw the trophy was presented to OO Club President, Chris Piper (Sc 71) by the Head, Sarah Kerr-Dineen.
A new addition to the weekend was the Careers Networking Event, held in the Great Hall on Saturday between 5pm and 7pm providing the opportunity for current pupils to speak to OOs working in a myriad of professions and seek careers advice.
Thank you to all those who participated as well as the many volunteers involved in ensuring a successful weekend including the School staff, Sports Club Secretaries and the OO Sports Committee.
