Organisations wishing to set up residential schools and training camps can benefit from the School’s wide range of recreational facilities including extensive playing fields and comprehensively equipped sports halls that also cater for indoor sports such as climbing, cricket, fencing, squash and volleyball.
Oundle has long been recognised as one of the foremost schools for Science and Engineering in the country. 2016 saw the furthering of this vision with the completion of SciTec, an award winning and ground-breaking science complex with sixteen state-of-the-art laboratories.
The School can also offer facilities for music, drama and theatre production, using the Great Hall, Gascoigne Music School or Stahl Theatre all of which are within easy walking distance of the Towns market square.
The Schools thirteen senior boarding houses can each accommodate between sixty and sixty-five students providing a wide range of flexible accommodation for residential guests. In addition, our junior house, The Berrystead can accommodate smaller groups of up to forty- two.
Accommodation is homely with a number of individual rooms, twins and small dormitories sleeping up to six, all with shared bathroom facilities.
Each boarding House has common recreation areas, a library, TV room, and kitchenettes. Some Houses also have their own dining rooms which make ideal meeting and social spaces.
The Houses are scattered throughout the town, and each retains their own individuality, whether fashioned by its architecture or location.
All meals are provided in either the Schools Refectory or 2 Acre dining rooms and are provided by our term-time catering teams. Packed meals can also be provided in lieu of on-site meals for excursion days.
Houses are allocated depending on availability and the size and nature of the enquiring group.
