Pupils are encouraged to explore their creativity and participate in a huge variety of bands, choirs, ensembles, orchestras, theatre performances and art exhibitions. There is a self-discipline, attention to detail and personal organisation required by the Arts that is invaluable to learn, coupled with the self-confidence that comes from understanding the importance of practice and rehearsal to deliver a performance or show.

The Stahl Theatre is the beating heart of theatrical endeavour for both the School and town, while the Yarrow Gallery is home to numerous public exhibitions and private viewings throughout the year, with work exhibited by both pupils and professional artists. Alongside the Stahl Theatre we have a number of other performance spaces, including the Great Hall and a dedicated recital room within the Gascoigne, home to our Music department.
