OOGS v The Grocers\u2019 Company<\/strong><\/p>\n

Friday, May 8th<\/sup> 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

New Zealand GC<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another excellent day in this long-running annual match at the wonderful New Zealand.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the morning, there were wins in the foursomes for OO pairs Mikey Outar (L 06) & Jason McCaldin (D 85) and James Aston (St A\u00a0 90) & David Hutchinson (G 79), halves for Jonathan Andrews (84) & Guy Beresford (B 81) and Chris Coleman (St A 82) & Al Stuart (B 84), and defeats for William King (C \u201966) & Fred Domellof (F 76), giving lots of shots to their opponents, and Richard Hall (Sc 93), playing as a single, on the 18th<\/sup>\u00a0green. \u00a0A very honourable draw saw the Grocers retain the trophy.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Following an excellent lunch, as always, OOs were well-represented in the afternoon stableford foursomes, with the Knight Salvers being won by Richard Knight (OO, representing the Grocers) & William King (C 66)<\/p>\n

This match is a pleasure to run and we are all looking forward to returning to NZGC in 2027.<\/p>\n
