Today, we are marking International Women\u2019s Day, celebrating all that has been achieved while acknowledging the barriers that still exist for women around the world.<\/p>\n
At Oundle we encourage our pupils to look up and out to the world around them and aim to instil in them a sense of service and of respect for difference, so that they can become valuable contributors to society.<\/p>\n
This year we are proud to be celebrating 35 years of co-education, which sits at the heart of these values, and to be planning for a new girls’ boarding House in honour of David McMurray, the Headmaster who introduced co-education to Oundle in 1990. \u00a0He set out a clear vision for the School which continues to resonate today:<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is our intention to create at Oundle an environment in which boys and girls can fulfil their individual talents and respect one another as equals.
