At a time when physical visits remain difficult for prospective parents across the world, we are delighted to bring you a video from our Head, Sarah Kerr-Dineen. It cannot, of course, replicate the experience of looking round Oundle and meeting our pupils, but it does offer an authentic and heart-felt insight into all that Oundle stands for.
Alongside personal visits in the Lent Term, we are also offering a number of Virtual Q&A Sessions. These short and personal events are an excellent introduction to Oundle for families to take part in from the comfort of their own homes ahead of visiting us in person. Our next live Virtual Q&A Sessions will take place on Saturday 23 January and Saturday 6 February 2021. Both events will be hosted by the Head, the Registrar and the Deputy Head Admissions. They will consist of a short presentation by the Head, followed by questions from both parents and pupils which our panel will answer in real time. There will also be an opportunity to speak to pupils and other subject-specific staff. Our experience has shown that this approach, combined with limited numbers, creates a relaxed and informal atmosphere and thereby a tangible insight into our community.
To find out more or to book on to one of our upcoming Virtual Q&A Sessions, please register your interest.
We are very much looking forward to when we can reopen to visitors and offer individual visits that are tailored to each family’s needs, enabling you to see the School in action. We pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to Oundle, with initial visits usually lasting around three to four hours. Families are welcomed by the Registrar before having a tour of the School, including dedicated time with a Housemaster or Housemistress and other members of staff by arrangement. All tours conclude back in the Admissions Office with the Registrar. Please contact the Admissions office if you wish to be informed of when visits to Oundle will resume.
