Tennis

Tennis is offered as a main game in the Trinity Quarter and is extremely popular with both girls and boys. The creation of the second Astro pitch has meant that there are now twenty-four Astro tennis courts as well as nine hard courts. Over 200 pupils play tennis regularly each games afternoon with tennis sessions running from1400 until 1700 each day. There are four professional tennis coaches who take coaching sessions for pupils of all abilities.

Fixtures: Block fixtures are played against all our local rivals with an annual mixed match against Rugby. Results are varied, but competition is fierce and most matches are closely-fought affairs. In National HSBC Competitions the U13 and U15 girls' teams have reached county and regional finals in recent seasons.

Heads of Boys' Tennis: Dr Max von Habsburg.

Head of Girls' Tennis: Mrs H Amps.
