Squash
Squash continues to thrive at Oundle School. It is offered throughout the Michaelmas, Christmas and Easter Quarters to Fifth and Sixth Form pupils. Apart from inter-schools fixtures, keenly contested 'box' matches take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Our highly experienced professional, Carol Abbott, provides specialist coaching for beginners, intermediates and team players. With five courts in excellent condition, our facilities remain the envy of many of our competitors.
A Junior Squash voluntaries programme is popular among pupils in the First to Fourth, and helps us to spot talent at an early age.
Fixtures: Boys and girls teams play Uppingham, Oakham and Rugby on a regular basis, with boys also competing against Stamford, Welbeck and Bedford.Staff: Mrs Carol Abbott (professional), Mr D.
