Rounders
Rounders is one of the sports for girls in the Trinity Quarter from Fourth form upwards. Rounders continues to be a popular and successful sport with over 50 girls playing this year, with matches and training sessions being held on New Field or more recently on Home Close, between Sanderson House and the Sci-Tech building.
Fixtures are usually held on Saturdays and matches are played in a competitive but sporting spirit. The Interhouse Rounders competitions are popular events amongst the girls.
The Head of Rounders is Mrs Beverley Burnham, with other full and part-time coaches assisting with teams and training with the aim of providing structured and enjoyable sessions where all girls can realise their potential in a skilful game.
