Football
Football at Oundle has developed rapidly over the last decade. It has grown from a Sixth Form option for non-rugby players, to a main sports option available to all from the Fourth Form upwards. U13 A, B, C and D XI play in the Michaelmas, Christmas and Easter Quarters. Junior Colts A and B and Colts A and B play in the Easter Quarter only. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI Seniors play in the Easter Quarter only. The 1st XI plays in the Crusader Cup competition.
Achievements: The 1st XI has been a semi-finalist in the Crusader Cup on two occasions since it began. The outstanding captains of recent years have been Michael Ridley (StA) and Christopher Roddis-Ferrari (L). The School Football Club has benefited from coaching from the Aston Villa Academy, Derby County FC, Rushden and Diamonds FC and Leicester City FC.
