Cross country
Cross-Country has been well-established for many years at Oundle. In total, there are approximately 60 boys and girls who take part in games sessions. The strength in numbers has enabled us to provide three representative girls teams and two boys teams for the majority of our matches, where large numbers are permitted. Training for the team squad includes a short minibus ride to the notorious Wadenhoe hills every Tuesday.

Fixtures
Oundle forms part of a new and competitive East Midlands league, which includes our main rivals (Welbeck, Nottingham High, Oakham, Uppingham, Stamford, Wellingborough). We also compete further afield in the South East schools competition at Harrow, the Knole Run at Sevenoaks and MANISCCC (the Midland and Northern Independent Schools Cross Country Championship), in addition to hosting an Invitation Relays event (to which the Old Oundelians are always cordially invited).

Achievements
In recent years, we have fared very well in both the East Midlands League and MANISCCC in particular. In 2006, Oundle may well have made history, with runners bringing back medals in every category, a first for the School, and perhaps a first for any School at MANISCCC. The boys' teams at both Colts and Senior level finished as bronze medallists, and the girls' team went one better to take home the silver.
Masters in Charge: Mrs Margaret Holmstrom, and Dr Max Habsburg.
