Athletics
Athletics has a long history as a sport within the School, the first fixture being recorded in 1862. It is offered throughout the Trinity Quarter and the School puts out teams from the First Form through to the Sixth Form. There are often as may as seventy athletes competing in a fixture.
Fixtures: The School has block fixtures against schools such as Oakham, Uppingham, Rugby, Bromsgrove and Repton. In addition, athletes compete in District, County and National Schools' athletics competitions, as well as in the National Prep Schools' competition.
Achievements: Several athletes qualify to run for Northamptonshire County each year. Pupils who achieved success in other competitions in 2003 include Cassie Vaz, who was National Prep Schools' U13 100m champion, and Emily Sherlock who was an English Schools' multi-events national finalist.
