Wyatt house

With her husband Robert, Joan Wyatt co-founded the Gild of Our Lady of Oundle in the early part of the sixteenth century, and gave her name to one of a pair of Houses built in 1990 to house Oundle's first girl boarders. Wyatt is surrounded by the School playing fields from its position on Pavilion Drive, and now accommodates 65 girls between the ages of 13 and 18.

Mrs Kirk is married with two children, and became Housemistress in September 2005. She has taught Physics at Oundle since 1998. She runs the Royal Air Force section of the School Combined Cadet Force and is in charge of Kayaking. Her interests are hill walking, skiing and travel when the opportunity presents itself.

In addition to the Housemistress the House has a team of seven tutors: Mrs Allsop (Maths); Mr Burlington (Drama); Miss Cousins (Maths); Mrs Holmstrom (Biology); Mrs Morin-Skinner (French); Mrs Page (Senior Mistress, Modern Languages), Mrs Ratchford (Music), Resident Deputy Housemistress; Mrs Redding (Educational Support); Miss Reid (Sports Fellow); and Miss Zhau (Chinese Assistant).
