Oundle, PE8 4EN

In the centre of the School, facing the Cloisters across New Street and adjacent to the Great Hall, School House began life as a boarding House in 1887, although by tradition School House was originally the residence of the Headmaster, and there has been a School House at Oundle since 1556. Now no longer part of the Headmasters' domain, School House accommodates 61 boys between the ages of 13 and 18.
Dr Hunt has taught Biology at Oundle for twenty-four years, and following four years as Housemaster of the Berrystead he moved to School House in 1992. He is married and his wife is the School House matron. He is now the Senior Housemaster, helps coach the First XV rugby and is a keen bird-watcher.
In addition to Dr. Hunt the House has a team of six tutors: Mr Brighton (History); Dr von Habsburg (History) the Deputy Housemaster; Mr Hipperson (English); Mrs Lacey (Head of Educational Support); Mr Penhale (Chemistry) and Mr Watson (Head of German).
