Daily and Weekly Routine
Every day (including Saturday) starts with Registration in Laxton Cloisters between 8:00 a.m. and 8:25 a.m.. Lessons then take place every morning with a break mid-way. Morning lessons end at 12:45 p.m. Monday to Friday, and at 12:10 p.m.on Saturdays. Lunch is taken in our dining room in the School Refectory in two sittings.
The end of the day is very variable depending upon the age of the pupil and season of the year. Collection time is normally between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. but may be much later if there is a lecture or theatre to attend. Pupils are encouraged to wait in the library doing their homework whilst waiting for lifts. Pupils who are engaged in late evening activities are able to take an evening meal in a boarding house.
Every pupil attends School Chapel once a week before lunch. There is Sport on three afternoons a week, and either lessons or activities (for example CCF or Community Action activities) on the other three afternoons.
