Grafton is one of four spacious purpose-built boys' boarding Houses collectively known as the Field Houses, situated off Milton road, and backing on to the playing fields. Named after the sixteenth century Grocer and printer, Grafton's first boarders took up residence in 1902, moving to the present site in 1905.
Mr Burrows joined Oundle in 1988 to teach Physics, and was Housemaster of New House prior to its conversion to a girls' House in 1997. He became Housemaster of Grafton in 2001. He is married and has three children, and his wife works on the nursing staff of the School Sanatorium. He coaches fives and golf, and referees rugby.
