The Chaplaincy
The Chaplaincy is called St Wilfrid’s, after the famous Bishop of Hexham and then York, who in the seventh century aligned English Christianity with the rest of Europe, and who in his last years founded a monastery near Oundle, in which he ended his days.
The Chaplaincy is situated just below the Teachers’ Common Room, about a minute’s walk from the Chapel. It is a meeting place which houses the Chaplain’s office and includes an Oratory, two comfortable meeting rooms and a kitchen.
Confirmation classes are held there, as well as other society meetings and
social gatherings. Coffee is normally available there after Chapel services.
If you wish to use the Chaplaincy for meetings, contact the Chaplain.
