Four Angels illuminate the space under the gallery as one leaves the Chapel by the west doors, two in white, and two in pink, either side of the inner doors at the end of the nave.

The west porch was refurbished in 2004-5 with the installation of new plate glass doors into the Chapel, and an engraved glass tympanum reminding those who enter that the Chapel was built as a memorial to the Old Oundelians who fell in the Great War 1914-1918.

The four new windows, commissioned from Mark Angus were installed in April 2005. Given the school's connection with the Grocers' Company it was decided that four near- eastern saints would be appropriate subjects: St Anthony of Egypt, St Catherine of Alexandria, St George of Lydda, and St. Margaret of Antioch.

The four figures greet the visitor on the threshold of the chapel, and remind them of the battle between good and evil which confronts us all. In medieval times, these were some of the most popular saints in Europe because of their powers of intercession. Today we may look to them for inspiration and recognise that the battle of good and evil needs to be fought in every generation.
