The Creation story in Genesis tells of ordering as a process of marking boundaries and differences: between light and darkness, day and night, the firmament and the heavens, sea and dry land, the plants and the animals. God creates this order not through a forceful act, but with the power of the Word, language and meaning. In the creation windows, purple signifies God's actions. The series on the south also explores the cycles of the seasons and the elements, leading towards the seven trumpets blowing for the vision of the apocalypse.
