Florida comes to Oundle
A special event took place on Wednesday 17 May, 2006, when members of the Stetson University Chamber Orchestra joined with the Oundle School String Orchestra in an evening concert in the Great Hall.
Playing amongst other pieces Barber's Adagio, Shostakovich's String Quarter No.8, and the Henry V Suite by Walton, our visitors from Florida, directed by Anthony Hose, ended their short four venue UK tour at Oundle. A brief sightseeing trip to Cambridge will finish their British experience before flying back.
