Mathematics Challenge Final
Four students from from Oundle impressed recently with their performance at the national final of the UK Team Mathematics Challenge, held at the Camden Centre, London.
The team, consisting of Nicholas Kernick, Boris Videnov, Jamie Price and Holly Anderson, from the First, Second, and Third Forms, were placed a respectable 15th out of the 60 teams on the day, and an even more impressive 15th out of the1200 teams who entered the competition.
Each team present had previously won their regional heat, and Oundle qualified by finishing top in the Eastern region (see previous news story). The UK Mathematics Team Challenge is run by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust.
