Drama Scholarship at 13+
Candidates must be under 14 on 1st September 2005
The Donaldson Scholarship of up to 20% of School fees
On the audition day candidates will be asked to perform a prepared, learnt
monologue taken from a scripted piece of drama. This should be chosen to show
the candidate's physical and vocal ability to best advantage. There will also
be a group improvisation session and an interview with a member of the Oundle
drama staff. Wherever possible, a member of the Oundle drama staff will visit
a candidate's present school to see them performing in a major role in a school
production prior to the final auditions held at Oundle. If there is no suitable
production however, this should not be seen as barring a candidate's application.
