Oundle School is one of the country’s premier co-educational boarding and day schools, with approximately 860 boarding and 500 day pupils (ranging in age from 5 – 18), a turnover in excess of £30m and a staff of 700. The School is spread throughout the historic town of Oundle, which is situated approximately 12 miles from Peterborough. There are fourteen Boarding Houses, one of which cares for pupils aged 11 - 13, and the remainder look after pupils aged 13-18.

Head Physics Technician

The Physics Department is extremely well resourced, and situated within the new multi million pound Sci-Tec complex. We are recruiting for a Head Physics Technician to have overall independent responsibility for the day to day running of the technical support and prep room(s) of the Physics Department and ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided to Physics teachers and pupils within the curriculum.
The successful candidate will have good planning and organisational skills, be adaptable in terms of acquiring new skills and have strong communication skills. A related higher level technical qualification or extensive relevant experience and competency in Word and Excel are essential. Previous experience operating electron microscopes, and/or wind tunnels would be an advantage.

Director of Marketing and External Relations

This is a new role to lead and develop the School’s communications strategy, ensuring the School presents itself in a manner that reflects the high quality of the School and its organisation. The Director of Marketing and External Relations will achieve this through co-ordinating and developing the multi-faceted marketing operation.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling positive and effective working relationships with a wide range of staff, pupils, parents and suppliers. Previous experience in a similar role in marketing and brand management is expected.
