The original SciTec set the standard for science education in schools.
The second phase of development opened in September 2016, completing the SciTec vision by locating sciences, technology, mathematics and engineering on a single campus. It was completed thanks to support from the Oundle community and beyond.
The project provides eleven classrooms for the Mathematics department and two new science project rooms adjacent to the Biology and Chemistry laboratories. It also expanded the Patrick Engineering Centre to include a design laboratory, a new technology laboratory, two new classrooms and four new open-plan workshop
We have raised a very substantial proportion of the project budget thanks to many generous donations. The appeal remains open until the end of March 2017 and opportunities for naming parts of the new facility are still available. If you are interested in supporting the future of STEM education at Oundle or would like further information, please contact the Director of Development.
