Golf is offered in the Summer Term to Sixth Form pupils. As well as participating in scheduled inter-school fixtures, pupils can expect to either play 9 holes or have a lesson with our golf professional on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Our highly experienced PGA professional, Richard Keys, provides specialist coaching for all standard of players from beginners through to those with single figure handicaps. Pupils play at Oundle Golf Club, which is on the outskirts of Oundle. School golfers are junior members of the club and can also play at other times during the week when they are free, over and above the games sessions.

The School team plays annual fixtures against Uppingham, Oakham, Stamford, Bedford, Felsted and Rugby, as well as the keenly anticipated match against the Old Oundelians. The OOs run a thriving Golf Society and this is open to all OOs, whether or not they played golf during their time at Oundle. School golfers can also obtain an official CONGU Handicap through their rounds played during the Term.

The School enters a team into both the HMC Foursomes competition and the ISGA Schools Matchplay competition, both of which run throughout the year, with the early rounds being held in the Michaelmas Term.
