Oundle School plays host to a wide variety of residential groups during the summer and Easter holidays including language schools, academic, sports and music groups.

Our current clients include Exsportise, the British English Olympics, and the Grand Union Youth Orchestra.

The School has also hosted the National Schools Netball Finals, been a training centre for the U18 England Basketball Team and is the venue of choice for the ESSA Water Polo Finals.

Organisations wishing to set up residential schools and training camps can benefit from the School’s wide range of recreational facilities including extensive playing fields and comprehensively equipped sports halls that cater for indoor sports such as climbing, basketball, fencing and volleyball. There are also five squash courts, two floodlit Astro pitches, nine hard tennis courts and a 43.5m swimming pool.

The School can also offer facilities for music, drama and theatre production, using either the Stahl Theatre or Great Hall, which are both within easy walking distance of the town’s market square. The Stahl Theatre is purpose-designed to professional standards, located in an old chapel. It is an ideal venue for a comprehensive drama course that includes constructing and painting sets, stage management, costumes, make-up, lighting and sound, as well as acting and directing.

The thirteen senior boarding houses can each accommodate between sixty and sixty-five students providing a wide range of flexible accommodation for residential guests. In addition, our junior house, The Berrystead can accommodate smaller groups of up to forty-two.

Accommodation is bright and cheerful with a number of individual rooms and small dormitories sleeping up to six, all with shared facilities. Full catering is provided in the School’s refectory and 2 Acre dining rooms, with varied menus to suit every level of request.

Special interest courses can also be accommodated in subjects such as Languages, IT, Music, Sciences and Design Technology utilising other specialist areas of the School.
