Adult and Child

Adult and Child sessions are designed to introduce babies and young children (between 3 months and 4 years) to water, with an emphasis on play, whilst developing water skills and confidence. Adults accompany their child in the water, alongside our swimming teacher. Through nursery rhymes and games, the lively activities include movement through the water, blowing bubbles, floating and submerging and more importantly fun. Children must have received their full inoculations and be accompanied by an adult at all times

Pre-school Lessons

With a ratio of four children to one instructor, our pre-school lessons provide a stepping stone from adult and child classes. The lessons allow children to swim independently and gain confidence, preparing them for the swim school.

Oundle Otters Swim School

Following a structured teaching program, our ASA qualified teachers are committed to providing lessons that inspire confidence in the water, whilst developing skills and ultimately stroke technique and stamina. With lessons on Mondays, Fridays and Saturday mornings during term time, or intensive courses during the school holidays, our classes cater for all, from non-swimmers to competent swimmers. Swimmers can attend an assessment in advance to ensure they are placed in the correct level.

Adult Private Lessons

There are many reasons why adults want to learn to swim. Rest assured you will feel comfortable in this friendly environment. Working at your pace, we aim to improve confidence and develop skills and swimming techniques. It is never too late to learn.

Aqua Aerobics

Offering sessions which enhance core body control, our aerobic low impact shallow water session can cater for all abilities. We provide float belts, hand buoys and mitts to aid resistance, increase mobility, fitness and muscular strength, making this an ideal toning exercise for the entire body.
